Armchair with a straight backrest in moulded and carved wood, grey-stained with interlaced frieze decoration; the ribbed armrests feature cuffs, the connecting blocks are decorated with small flowers, and the tapered base is fluted and serrated, stamped by Henri JACOB (1753–1824), admitted as a Master on 29 September 1779, Louis XVI period, H. 91 cm. W. 61.6 cm (chipping, losses and wear, worm-eaten areas and traces of oxidation on the nails, wear, stains and tears in the upholstery, tears in the lining at the back of the backrest).
