A cabinet with two doors and two drawers (one of which is missing), made of moulded and carved blackened wood. On the two front doors is a depiction of the Judgement of Solomon in panels framed by angels. The doors open to reveal 11 compartments, 7 of which contain drawers, the central one opening in two panels onto a recess inlaid with exquisite wood marquetry featuring a design of lozenges and stars within frames, the whole punctuated by four mirrors framing an engraved depiction of a landscape featuring a shepherd. The upper frieze depicts putti at work, with an incised decoration of flowers and foliage. The base consists of eight twisted columns with Ionic capitals, joined by a crossbar resting on eight millstone-shaped feet. A 19th-century piece in the Louis XIII style. Missing parts, damage, missing drawers. Overall height: 185 cm, width: 138 cm, depth: 51 cm. Height of the upper section: 96 cm. Dimensions of the secret compartment (central niche): 37 cm x 39 cm.
