Draped necklace, Provence, c. 1860. In 18-carat yellow gold (750) and silver, set with a cascade of rose-cut diamonds on a rosette. Double chain and medallion clasp centred with a garnet cabochon. Horse’s head hallmark (1838–1919) and the hallmark of the city of Avignon. Length: 37 cm Gross weight: 38.30 g.
