An Empire large candelabrum with five-light gilt-bronze and brown patinated bronze The vase, featuring garlands of foliage held in place by satyr heads, displays a bouquet of branches forming a griffin-headed lamp; it has a quadrangular base decorated with an incense burner and a frieze of palmettes. (oxidation, signs of wear, some elements need reattaching), 18cm wide, 18cm deep, 76cm high (7in wide, 7in deep, 29 1/2in high).
