56. A late 18th century gilt-bronze mantel clock surmounted by an incense burner
Shaped like a post with glass panels, the white enamelled dial—featuring Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes in black—is adorned with a ribbon bow and sprigs of foliage. The upper section features two vases with ram's heads. Rectangular base. (The lid is probably missing; signs of wear; slight oxidation; no key; no pendulum; some parts missing), 28cm wide, 17cm deep, 50cm high (11in wide, 6 1/2in deep, 19 1/2in high).
