An Empire cradle clock in brown-patinated and gilt-bronze depicting Eros The dial, signed 'Mugnier Hr de l'empereur et roi', and the movement are set within the cradle's body within a foliage-patterned dial; the upper section features a young Eros playing with a dove, near the curtain depicting a quiver and torch. (oxidation, damage to the dial, missing sections), 25cm wide, 15cm deep, 29.5cm high (9 1/2in wide, 5 1/2in deep, 11 1/2in high).
