37. A green porphyry column with gilt-bronze mounts, attributed to Thomas Hope, from the 19th century.
Four lion's heads on the column, a foliage motif on the upper section, and a base with chiselled decoration. (Fitted as a lamp, wiring needs attention, slight oxidation), 17.5cm wide, 17.5cm deep, 64.5cm high (6 1/2in wide, 6 1/2in deep, 25in high).
