In linen damask with a silky, high-contrast design, featuring a wide border of undulating vine motifs comprising hops, daisies, large wild rose flowers and their buds, the spandrels featuring a rare motif of large, fully opened passionflower blooms with their tendrils and finely detailed foliage; a repeating frieze of leaves above; a framing border of palmettes; and a dense scattering of small sprigs with varied flowers across the entire tablecloth. Dimensions: 6.40 m x 2.10 m (in very good condition, with a few small loose threads)
