A set of twenty-four festive napkins, damask-woven with holly leaves, second half of the 19th century. Made of very fine linen damask with a striking design featuring friezes of holly leaves with a shaded effect and small berries on either side of a ribbon of trimmings with small cloisonné motifs, framed by a beaded frieze, scattered with sprigs of the same holly leaves and small berries. A complex monogram beneath a Comtale crown, very finely embroidered in white in one corner. Dimensions: 92 x 75 cm (in fine condition)
