Linen damask with a high-contrast design featuring a welcoming vermiculated pattern in the spandrels and, repeated throughout the border, the large ‘N’ monogram beneath an imperial crown; the frame and spaces in between are adorned with vine shoots supporting bunches of grapes with plump berries, alternating with acanthus leaves. Dimensions: 12 m x 4 m (two small clustered holes, a few loose threads)
