Description
Two porcelain plates with heraldic decoration for the French market (Dassier des Brosses), China. Qianlong period (1736–1795), circa 1780. Both plates are decorated in ‘Famille Rose’ enamels, with garlands of flowers on the rim, and the combined coats of arms of the Dassier des Brosses, Or, three bands of Gules; and the Garat de Saint-Priest, Azure, a chevron accompanied in chief by two stars and in base by a cord. Dimensions: 22.5 cm. Very good condition
