of the Chamber of King Louis I of Spain and succeeded his father
in 1723; by 1724 he was recorded as a brigadier in the
Spanish Royal Navy. Upon the restitution of his estates in 1725, he continued
to live in Madrid in the service of Philip V. On 22 April
1717 in Blois, to Catherine de Boufflers (1702–1738), lady-in-waiting
to the Queen of Spain.
