A moulded and carved mahogany armchair, with a slightly raked, openwork backrest decorated with palmettes and small flowers within a diamond pattern; baluster-style armrests; and a curved waistband featuring small flower-decorated connecting blocks. The front legs are turned wood with rings, and the rear legs are sabre-shaped. The seat is upholstered in green leather. Empire period. H: 87 cm – W: 51 cm – D: 48 cm. Branded with the Lorraine company’s iron stamp (slight damage and wear to the upholstery).
