Late 19th–early 20th-century style, modelled on a design by François GIRARDON (1628–1715) A pair of Medici vases in moulded and carved marble, known as the ‘Triumph of Amphitrite’, based on a model created for the northern parterre of the park at the Palace of Versailles and now held in the collections of the Louvre Museum (Inv.
