Description
René LALIQUE (1860–1945). ‘Blacksmith’. Moulded and pressed glass door panel, sandblasted and patinated. Design created on 2 February 1925 for the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts in Paris. According to family tradition, this glass panel is believed to be the first one produced for this door. Firing mould marks. Unsigned. Dimensions: 52 x 36 cm.
