Description
René LALIQUE (1860–1945) ‘Satyre’ Design created in 1923 and marketed by Cusenier; production ceased after 1947. Pear-shaped carafe with a detached handle and a shield-shaped stopper Made from blown-and-moulded glass; the handle and stopper are made from pressed moulded glass and feature the original red ochre patina. Marked ‘R. LALIQUE’ for Cusenier on the base. Stopper stuck fast.
