A model of a cuirassier officer’s uniform comprising: -A pair of officer’s epaulettes made of silver-coloured trimmings. -A white braided aiguillette with pomegranate-shaped ferrules in white metal. -An officer’s cuirass made of nickel-plated iron. Shoulder strap fastenings, shoulder straps with chain links and clasps decorated with a laurel wreath in gilded brass. Leather linings and straps. Leather belt (restored at the fastenings) with a brass buckle. -Officer’s leather cartridge pouch, featuring a radiating pommel motif with a brass pomegranate. Regimental banner in buffalo leather with brass trimmings. -A tunic with a scarlet collar and an embroidered pomegranate motif. Not examined. A.B.E. Third Republic.
