Light cavalry non-commissioned officer’s sabre, Year XI, with a sheepskin-covered hilt featuring two riveted olive-shaped fittings. Brass mountings, bearing the serial number 199 and stamped with ‘K*’. Curved blade with a flat back, marked ‘Mfture Imple du Klingenlthal August 1813’, stamped with the Krantz and Bick marks.
