Horn hilt (filigree missing). Brass mountings, five-pronged guard with relief decoration, hallmarked ‘Barré’. Straight blade with hollow edges and a flat back, signed ‘Couleaux & Cie Klingenthal’ (oxidation). Nickel-plated iron scabbard with a single ferrule.
Length: 108.5 cm. Presented with an infantry officer’s leather sword knot.
