Flintlock pistol, first half of the 18th century. Hunting civilian. Double barrel in table. Early stock shape ending in a prominent steel cap. Single gooseneck grips (without reinforcement), French made L et A Penet (?) Frères. Perfectly functional locks. Original hammers, supplied with flints clamped in the jaws. Faceted steel basins. Wood engraved with shell motifs (Louis XIV period). Superficial oxidation. Wooden ramrod added as an aesthetic complement. For a veneur and the coup de grâce during a big hunt.
