Description
Marine pistol, French regulation, model 1849, period second half of the XIXè, Second Empire, with hook of belt. Macaron of stick presenting the year 1853 MI. Pistol homogeneous in number 304 on wood, the barrel, the mouthpiece etc. Manufacture Impériale de Châtellerault. Bronze cap with steel ring, stamped with the regulation navy anchor. The screw head of the hammer has broken flush. The ramrod is on a hinged ring. Belt hook. Armour plate and half armour plate clean and clear. Chimney well present. A few knocks to the wood. The fittings include the punches of the controllers and the arsenals (P, C, A). Total length 31 cm, including 17 cm of barrel. Tube diameter 15 mm.
