[MEDICINE] Ambroise PARE - The Works By Jean Grégoire, Paris, 1664 - Twelfth revised and corrected edition, augmented by a treatise on fevers - A good edition of this great classic, a reprint of the 1633 Lyon edition, illustrated with numerous woodcuts including the famous figures of monsters. 18th century binding in fairly good condition in full basane, 6-rib spine and richly decorated boxes, red morocco title-piece, interior fairly well preserved, some pages soiled, a few leaves a little torn with tears and like most copies: missing ff.
