Condition A-, a small tear at the end of margin XXX. . This is a rare subject in the world of posters and advertising: snails. More specifically, Burgundy snails. Yet they are a national emblem of France and its gastronomy, known throughout the world. This image encapsulates the history of this producer, this culinary legend, and the ‘chef to the kings’, Alexandre Dumaine. He is featured in the image, and rightly so, since at his restaurant La Côte d’Or in Saulieu, he revived traditional Burgundian cuisine, introducing it to stars from all over the world, just like other great chefs of his era such as Fernand Point, André Pic, or even Bernard Loiseau, who succeeded him.
