Commemorative medal – Convention – Directory – Consulate by Caquée, 1834 (51 mm, pewter, 57 g) SUP / TTB Obverse: Bust of the Republic facing left, wearing a Phrygian cap; the inscription ‘REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE’ is signed ‘CAQUE.F.’ and dated 1834 on the edge of the bust. Reverse: In 6 lines: CONVENTION / 21 SEPTEMBER 1792. / DIRECTORY / 27 OCTOBER 1795. / CONSULATE / 24 DECEMBER 1799.
