Type C HEADGEAR worn by a ROYAL AIR FORCE and FAFL PILOT, made of brown leather with rubber ear flaps (without the headphones). Elasticated cotton chin strap. Lined with chamois leather on the inside, with a velvet section at the forehead. (A few tears).
It has three press studs on the left-hand side to secure the oxygen mask and two more on the right-hand side.
Includes a Type H OXYGEN MASK, medium size, with a 191 A2 mouthpiece, and MK VII GLASSES, with a metal frame, fully lined with chamois leather. Bevelled lenses (sun visor missing), with the full elastic strap. Marked ‘AM’ with a crown, 220/826 I858.
