Officer's sword.
Gilt brass hilt and guard, fuse plates missing.
Pommel with helmeted head. Guard with lion and ram heads.
Guard shell decorated with a warrior fighting a dragon.
Straight blade with triangular section. Engravings "Manufacture Royale de Klingenthal" and "Couleaux Frères" at the beginning of the blade, followed by warlike and floral ornamentation on the first third of the blade.
Scabbard with two gilt brass fittings, black leather body in poor condition.
Assembly between blade and handle defective.
First half 19th century.
Blade length: 80.2 cm. - Total length: 93.7 cm.
