This copy is enhanced with a portrait of Hugo and a complete set of 25 original photographs from the period, mounted first on laid paper and then on stiff cardboard mounted on tabs. These photographs reproduce the compositions of Gustave Brion; they were taken by Gilmer (some traces of stamps) and published separately by Faucheur and Danelle in 1862. Binding rubbed, foxing.
