A scalloped chest of drawers in satinwood veneer set within violetwood frames, featuring two wide drawers in two rows without a crossbar. Sharp-edged side panels terminating in curved legs. Gilded bronze rocaille ornamentation. Top in brown ‘Brèche des Flandres’ marble with a ‘bec de corbin’ edge. Louis XV style, partly 18th-century. 83 × 135 × 62 cm.
