CLOCK with a chiselled and gilded bronze case, featuring a white enamelled dial with Arabic numerals for the hours, surmounted by a courtly couple, depicting Louis XIV presenting a gift to Queen Maria Theresa of Austria. They are seated on a daybed with swan-neck armrests. 19th century. 49 x 40 x 13.5 cm. The rear glass is missing and there is some minor wear to the gilding.
