Impressive FIREPLACE SET in gilded bronze and porcelain, comprising: - a large clock consisting of a baluster vase in porcelain and bronze, decorated with putti and ram’s heads. Dial with Roman numerals, decorated with cupids. Oval base resting on spinning-top feet and surmounted by two putti. H. 76 cm. - a pair of candelabra, also in the shape of balusters, decorated with scenes of courtly love and bronze fittings in the form of rams and foliage, surmounted by seven candle arms. H. 75 cm. Dated to the Napoleon III period. It rests on three gilded wooden plinths. Minor restorations
