PARIS – A covered Medici-style porcelain vase with a polychrome decoration featuring a frieze of rosebuds and daisies alternating with polychrome cabochons surrounded by gold scrollwork, broad gold fillets on the rims and on the interior, handles adorned with bearded male heads against a gold background; the lid handle is shaped like a pine cone, complete with its interior lining. 19th-century, circa 1850.
