Large painting depicting court nobles feasting in the garden on the occasion of a birthday, probably that of the commissioner's father. It's pleasant to stroll and chat around the pavilions under the pine trees. Some are having a snack, while others are enjoying the flowers. Clouds provide the central transition to a painted background of mountains and women chatting in front of another pavilion. Polychrome pigments and gilding on paper.
