Antoine Louis BARYE (1795–1875). Theseus fighting the centaur Biénor. Bronze with a green patina, signed ‘A.L. BARYE’ on the reverse. Bears the foundry mark “F. BARBEDIENNE. FONDEUR”. Bears the letter “K” stamped on the underside; bears the numbers “7987” in ink on the inside. Height: 55 cm Model created in 1849; Barbedienne edition from 1877 onwards.
