71. 71W Y A small Louis XV rounded commode in amaranth, rosewood and tulipwood veneer by Pierre-François Guignard
With marquetry decoration of ribboned flower and bouquets baskets. It opens to two drawers sans traverse. Ornamentation of gilt and chiselled bronzes such as drawer handles, keyholes and feet.
Stamped J.F.GUIGNARD
Whited veined marble top, restored, 80cm wide, 51cm deep, 80cm high (31in wide, 20in deep, 31in high).
Pierre François Guignard, awarded the title of master cabinetmaker on 21 January 1767
