The ormolu case depicting La Toilette de Venus after Falconet surrounded by floral garlands and flanked by a draped standing figure with a putto to the opposing side, raised on toupie feet, the 4 inch white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and Arabic five minute markers with gilt brass hands signed to the centre Cronier, Paris, the twin train movement with external star shaped count wheel and plain backplate with silk suspension pendulum, currently ticking and striking. 40cm high, 32cm wide, 13cm deep
