The shaped case with ring-bearing lion masks to the sides and berried finial, on foliate husks and brackets and shaped base, the impressive 7 inch white enamel dial with bold black Roman numerals and Arabic five minute markers with finely pierced gilt brass hands, signed in the centre Mson Marquis Languereau & Co, Paris, the large French twin train movement with rack striking on a large bell mounted to the backplate, currently ticking and striking. 70cm high, 51.5cm wide, 25cm deep
