In our opinion this is a very interesting and important painting. With regard to its attribution, it is worth mentioning the connections between Spain and the Kingdom of Naples during the period, where an important School existed around the figure of Luca Giordano, with artists that executed numerous paintings on glass. We therefore attribute this painting to the Luca Giordano circle, and it would have been destined for the Spanish market.
