Description
A column-style table clock with a scalloped base in green moss agate; the circular dial is made of gilded, guilloché-patterned metal, with Arabic numerals set on white enamelled discs, surrounded by a garland of foliage and ribbons adorned with small white stones and synthetic rubies, from which hangs a flower-filled basket. The columns are adorned with flowers and foliage, whilst the bases are decorated with acanthus leaves. The whole rests on four small spindle-shaped feet. Ornamentation in silver and gilded silver. The underside of the base is covered in brown leather. Neoclassical style, circa 1900. 11.5 x 9 x 6 cm. (minor imperfections, distortions and losses, particularly to the base and the small stones).
