Since 2013, Vacheron Constantin has developed a privileged partnership with the ECAL / University of Art and Design Lausanne as part of the Master of Advanced Studies in Luxury & Design for Craftsmanship. Whyte is the culmination of a project first unveiled in June 2014 by the British designer Jake Moore as part of the first collaboration between Vacheron Constantin and the ECAL / University of Art and Design Lausanne. Jake Moore is now a member of the Creation team at Vacheron Constantin. Taking inspiration from the locomotive wheels of motion, this clock is applied to break the graphic codes of the analog dial. Conventional two needles have been replaced by a single body connected to both hours and minutes. The result reveals a constantly changing and seemingly random composition – Courtesy of Vacheron Constantin.
