Fitted with a gilt-finish in-line baguette-shaped keyless mechanical movement, 8-days going, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance with timing screws, self-compensating Breguet balance spring. Rectangular Lucite Angelfish panel held by four brass screws mounted on a stepped rectangular gilt brass base. Dial with applied brass dart indexes, fancy pierced lozenge hands.
Glass and case signed, case numbered.
Height 20 cm, length 18 cm, depth 5 cm.
The "Marina" ref. 352, is an eye-catching and technically complex design. The Marine scene with Angel Fish is engraved into the acrylic block from the rear, which is then filled with gold lacquer. The floating effect is enhanced by the contracting gilt fishes on the black panel. The reverse-bug bubbles add a three-dimensional effect.
