Royal Coins – Henry IV (1574–1589) - Set of 3 x Quart d’écu, 1st type with a cross with fleur-de-lis arms facing forwards, ‘Nantes T’ beneath the shield in the legend, date on the obverse, 17th-century obverse and reverse, Star within a crescent, distinct to the Master of the Mint Jacques Grandamy on the reverse between ‘DOMINI’ and ‘BENE’; the dotted ‘C’s, distinct to the engraver Florent Ménard on the reverse; and a dot between ‘BENE’ and ‘DICTVM’, distinct to another official: 1609 (silver, 9.59 g) very fine to very good and 2 x 1610 (silver, 9.62 g and 9.64 g) very fine to very good and very good (Gadoury 595)
