J. CHAUMET. Circa 1923-1924. Pair of earrings in white gold 750/°°° and platinum above 800/°°° each composed of an old-cut diamond holding 8/8-cut diamonds- finished with a foliate motif centred by a large unheated oval Sri Lankan sapphire in a mixed cushion towards the cushion (GEM PARIS certificate, slight chipping). Screw system. Eagle head hallmark, dog head hallmark, master hallmark (1890-1928, 12 Place Vendôme Paris). Height : 6.5 cm. Total gross weight: 12.97 g. In its original case (wear and accidents).
A certificate signed by Joseph Chaumet, dated 1924, attests to the delivery of these earrings a few months earlier.
