Le signe du bois – Art 986
23 × 17.5 cm
Set of 23 silver gelatin photographs mounted on black paper
Numbered and titled in white pencil, which were held together in a torn and taped folder labelled ‘YAN Jean Dieuzaide’, accompanied by a typewritten letter from Toulouse dated 15 February 1973 addressed to the Reverend Father at 7, rue d’Issy, 92170 Vanves, and signed in blue pen by Jacqueline Dieuzaide. It states the wish, at the request of Mrs Manuguet de Tardes, to offer the community ‘one or two photographic enlargements, as you choose’ from among the 24 photographs enclosed (of which we now have only the remaining 23).
