Small chiffonier table with cube and fillet marquetry, featuring two drawers, resting on four tapered tubular legs. Louis XVI period. Damage and missing parts. H: 63 cm, W: 40 cm, D: 28.5 cm Provenance: the collection of Pierre BOUDOT (1930–1988). Pierre BOUDOT was a writer, a philosopher specialising in Nietzsche, an essayist, a literary commentator on Radio France, a lecturer in philosophy at the Sorbonne, and a friend of, amongst others, Olivier Debré, Pierre Degottex, Marcelle Berr de Turquie, Pierre Rouge and Bernard Rousset.
