In 12, 2 unnumbered folios, 354 numbered pages, table of contents and errata folio, brown calfskin, ribbed spine decorated with a scattering of stars, covers decorated with interlaced gilt fillets and, in the centre, a crown. Traces of wax indicate that some of the fillets were coloured with wax. Contemporary binding. The title page is illustrated with a woodcut portrait of the poet. (On the title folio, the title has been restored and rewritten in pen; the crown on the upper cover has been scraped off).
