EXTREMELY RARE FIRST EDITION OF THE FIRST MAJOR GRAMMAR OF THE FRENCH LANGUAGE WRITTEN IN FRENCH, ‘sought after for its uniqueness’ (Brunet). Louis Meigret (c. 1510–1558) was a grammarian from Lyon and a reformer of the French language. (A very minor scorch on the upper edge of the fourth part, which does not affect the text).
