Atelier Primavera Longwy, blue earthenware dish on a pedestal. Diam. 29.5 cm H. 12.5 cm Primavera was a decorative arts workshop founded in 1912 by René Guilleré and Madeleine Vionnet for the Printemps department store, with the aim of promoting modern and accessible design. It collaborated with numerous artists and manufacturers, including Longwy, to produce innovative pieces in ceramics, furniture and textiles. The studio ceased operations in 1972.
