A small clock in patinated and gilded bronze, depicting a cherub playing the flute and the drum. The movement is housed inside the drum. White enamelled dial decorated with a festoon of flowers, signed L. GAISSO & Cie, Bd de la Madeleine, Paris. Winding square on the back. Round base in griotte red marble adorned with a frieze of water leaves. Late 19th century. (No winding key; movement requires servicing; rear bezel glass cracked; some wear to the patina) Height: 23 cm.
