An ormolu and chased bronze "well" clock. The pendulum represents a well with the lower part lined with white marble imitating stone. The upper part of the bracket is decorated with a scroll and a fretel. Circular white enamelled movement decorated with black Arabic numerals. Gold hands. Bezel encircled by a net of pearls. Circular turquoise marble base. Directoire period (late 18th century). Standing on four small feet. Base diameter: 14.5 cm.
