Fawn-coloured half-leather binding, smooth spines decorated with gilt fillets and borders, title, volume number and subtitles in gilt. Frontispiece portrait. Numerous copper-engraved and hand-coloured plates (Mammals, Birds) after Vauthier, under the supervision of Couché fils. Good condition. Some scuffing to the bindings; scattered foxing, occasionally heavy on a few plates.
